Gâteaux

Gâteaux is a French bakery based in Dearborn Michigan. I wanted the logo to have a flowing and chocolate-like look to it. The delicate type was so important in my eyes because I wanted it to give off the familiarity of thick and thin lines when you'd pour the melted chocolate. As for colors, of course, I wanted to play around with browns, which is how I ended up with the rich brown as the primary color of the design. Then naturally a vanilla color came to mind as a supporting color, but finding the right shade was a challenge! For advertisements and packaging, I thought the designs paired very well with the strawberry pink which I think helped give everything that final touch!
